We have an expanding environmental team that advises on a broad range of both commercial and dispute-related aspects of environmental law.

The team deals with all aspects of permits, including substantial bond arrangements. We also advise on waste disposal contracts, including negotiating with the relevant local authority.

We handle waste swap agreements, as well as negotiating and agreeing Waste Disposal Licences and advising on Financial Provision Agreements in relation to the issue of PPC Permits for landfill sites.

Our team regularly deals with environmental due diligence and works within the contaminated land regime. We also frequently represent environmentally sensitive sales and purchases.

Increasingly, the environmental liability of contracting parties has become a fundamental concern for those involved in the use of land for industry and mineral extraction. We advise on the negotiations and completion of agreements, indemnities and guarantees that define the extent of that liability.
